"Quartet Smoke" is the brand new group conceived by Joe Graziosi in early 2018. Graziosi continues down the rich tradition of jazz organ groups with a band that can play earthy blues, sophisticated jazz tunes, and smokey ballads. The group showcases Graziosi's pen, as well as featuring brilliant tunes from composers such as Pat Metheny, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Goldings, and Jeff "Tain" Watts.

Joe Graziosi Quartet

The Joe Graziosi Quartet is a New York based jazz group that focuses on Graziosi’s original music and some of the great compositions from past and current jazz masters.

"Hank Mobley's "Soul Station" in all 12 Keys" Project

Between 2013-2016, Joe practiced many hours to achieve an insane goal: to play Hank Mobley's sax solos and melodies from his masterpiece album, "Soul Station", in all 12 keys. It didn't take long for Joe to see the rewards of this intense type of a Workout (little Hank Mobley inside-joke there), and he soon (3 years) was able to play the entire album in every single key. That's 336 choruses of improvisation!

Modern Art

Modern Art is Graziosi's tribute to the music of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers. The sextet features the typical Blakey lineup of Trumpet, Tenor Sax, Trombone, Piano, Bass, and Drums. The project features compositions and arrangements by such jazz legends as Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Shorter, Lee Morgan, Cedar Walton, Bobby Timmons, Thelonious Monk and more.
